I’m Fat…….

…….and tired of it!

I am no where near my highest weight…..not because I plan to gain more, hahaha.

I lost 90 pounds over several years of working out on a daily basis, writing down every morsel I ate and being very diligent and aware of the math that is weight loss. Use more calories then you consume you will lose weight. Eat more calories then you use and you will gain weight. Without even getting into the correct foods or the cardio vs. weight lifting. Just the simple math that is weight control.

Well this year I started at 207 pounds. Yikes did I actually just put that out there.
I logged everything into fitday.com and exercised and got down to 191 in 7 months. I realize that is only 16 pounds but I was at least going in the right direction, slowly but getting there. Well……..over the last 4 weeks with vacation and a death in the family I got on the scale this morning and was at 200.

The nice thing about my weight is I carry it well. I am not tall, 5′3″ but noone believes me when I tell them I am 200 pounds. I hate that number. I got down to 168 when I lost the 90 and as you can see I put 30 of it back on.

So here it is, my weight loss blog.

And to just vent for a second, my family’s eating habits are disgusting and when I am with them I eat the same way. I am sure that’s where those 9 friggen pounds came from and how come it took 7 months to lose 16 and barley a month to put 9 of them back on. So I’m home now from the funeral, there is no junk food in my house except 1/2 pint of soydream ice cream. I am going to start with cutting the sugar and refined flour out of my diet and exercising.  (Of course I should disclose the doughnut I just ate)
