After running several days in a row I have noticed that I recover on the ‘walking’ portion quicker then a few days ago. In fact today the ‘walking’ portions were shorter. I don’t want to over do it yet while I get used to running so I’ve been walking 1/8 running an 1/8. But today I walked only 1/16 a couple of times.
If I can see an increase in just this week then by then end of the month I should be able to really see a difference between my little 1/16th sections from earlier this week. Perhaps even a mile straight.
I am not going over 1 mile on the treadmill this week, but that is only taking up 20 minutes so I got on the elliptical trainer today for another 15 after the running was done. My legs were a tired after all of that. It was a good feeling.
